I have Premium Service but not Guild?

Question: I have premium service and Nexon lists Guild capabilities are Premium Services, but the guild says my service has expired?


Short Answer: Nexon fucked up. Every time this is brought up on the forum, they ignore it. You can maybe get some money back if you send in a ticket.


Long Answer: The following theory states the new service (since Nexon made Free inventory free) does not include Guilds.


"People who are buying VIP/Premium Service are not able to create a guild stone or invite new members to join an existing guild.

When you attempt to join one of these guilds, the person attempting to join gets a message "you must have Mabinogi Premium Service to invite new members" whether or not the person attempting to join has VIP/Premium or not. It's really an error that the guild leader doesn't have service (even though they do).

I tested this out with a friend who has VIP and always renews it before it has ever expired. They were able to place a guild stone today. I bought VIP service yesterday and was unable to.

My theory is that the old service (that is being renewed for some people who have never let it lapse) can still invite guild members and place stones, but if you ever let your service expire for a day or more, and buy new service, the new service does not cover guilds (though you get daily items, see Nao and can do a house). "
